Balloon School at Balloons and Tunes offers: An Introduction/fundamentals/level 1 course introducing the balloon industry and what can be created with them. Teaching Individual classes only either 1-2-1 or 1-2-2 (your bubble) on our premises.
All products required for students to use at the course as in pumps and balloons etc and certificates will be put in individual Sanitised kits prior to the course taking place and Social distancing and all Covid government guidelines will be adhered to at all times whilst we are together.
The course is a 7 hour certified starting course for those wishing to join the industry as a hobby or small business and there are no requirements for any balloon experience or knowledge to take part. However you will be taught when it comes to working with balloons, one of the first things you should always learn is the care of the balloons themselves and how to look after and care for yourself in using them. As this course is Very Hands on, and you need to have finger and hand muscle flexibility to be able to complete this course
The course will cover all the Basic/Fundamentals/Level 1 requirements during the course. How to use balloons safely in Balloon Decorations and the environment.
Also other Health & safety & Risk assessments. An Introduction into the Principles and Elements of Design and use of them with balloons.

Usage of various helium tanks and inflators
With Deco bubble, Foil and Latex balloons and helium we will complete
sizing, tying a knot, adding ribbon, discuss Float Times, using Hi Float and Balloon Shine, create Table and Floor standing designs and helium filled archways.
Create Deco bubble displays with balloons confetti and feathers and personalisation
Using foil and Latex balloons and Air inflations we will complete
Creating Latex duplets and clusters,
creating Latex circular and square pack air filled base/column designs.
Also creating balloon column character (with air filled foil) and garlands (Classic and Organic). A latex air-filled balloon Flower and QLink balloon Arch
We have had to put also the following in place in agreement with our local council.
No buffet lunches, so ask you please to bring your own Lunch and snacks
Neither can we offer drinks in our supplied cups and glasses, so ask you please to bring your own cup, as we do have individual packed, tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk portions for you to help yourself, and bottled water in the fridge
Balloon designs created on the course are welcome to be taken home with you.
