This masterclass is designed to push your creativity and change the way you see the face as a canvas. Thomas will share his approach to creating complete transformations, using the natural structure of the face, illusion, exaggerated features, colour, contrast, line work, shading, texture and detail to turn a person into something completely different.
Discover how facial proportions and features can be manipulated to create striking characters that feel like they belong on the face rather than simply being painted onto it. Thomas will show you his own creative approach to developing ideas from scratch, including how he sketches, plans and develops concepts before bringing them to life.
Learn how to take inspiration and turn it into your own original characters rather than simply copying existing designs. You'll also explore how to adapt more elaborate transformations for real Halloween bookings, learning what to prioritise, what to simplify and how to create maximum impact within the time available.
